  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • ½ cup fig preserves
  • ½ cup raw pecans (chopped)
  • Optional: Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, toast the pecans for 1 to 3 minutes until fragrant. Set aside.
  3. Place the feta in an oven-safe dish, drizzle with avocado oil, and sprinkle with oregano and black pepper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Lower the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C), stir the feta until creamy, then add fig preserves and toasted pecans on top.
  5. Bake again for another 12-17 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  6. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices, pita chips, or fresh veggies.
