Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • Pico de gallo
  • Guacamole
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight for better flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Allow the steak to rest before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
  5. Warm corn tortillas on the grill or in a pan until softened. Assemble tacos by filling tortillas with sliced steak and topping with pico de gallo and guacamole.
