Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, shredded
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the steak in olive oil for about 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and whole milk; add parmesan gradually while stirring until melted and smooth.
  4. Toss cooked tortellini into the sauce to coat evenly. Slice the rested steak and place on top of the tortellini. Garnish as desired.
