  • 0.5 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Hot Sauce
  • 4 cups Cornflakes
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Seasoning Mix
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Additional Hot Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.25 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  3. In one bowl, mix flour, light brown sugar, paprika, and seasoning mix. In another, whisk eggs and hot sauce.
  4. Coat each chicken piece in the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mix followed by pressing into crushed cornflakes.
  5. Place coated chicken on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the hot honey sauce by combining honey, additional hot sauce, butter, light brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and mustard powder in a saucepan over medium heat until melted together.
  7. Drizzle the hot honey sauce over baked chicken before serving.
