  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely diced)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (finely diced)
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Coat each salmon fillet with the mixture.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Sear the fillets for about 3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Add one tablespoon of butter to baste the salmon.
