  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ cup dry white wine
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parsley

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise and pound to about ½ inch thickness. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. Deglaze the skillet with white wine and scrape up browned bits. Add minced garlic and simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Stir in butter and flour to thicken the sauce. Gradually add chicken broth mixture while stirring until combined and simmered to desired thickness.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, then return chicken to the skillet to coat in sauce.
