  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, applesauce, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just blended. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
