  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté sliced onions and bell peppers for 3-5 minutes until tender. Add mushrooms if using and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  3. Push vegetables aside and add ground beef. Cook until browned (5-7 minutes), breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; mix well for about 2 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low and place cheese on top of the mixture; cover with a lid for about 2-3 minutes until melted.
