  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or vegan honey alternative
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste or 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, fresh parsley or cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Boil sliced sweet potatoes in salted water for about 8-10 minutes until fork-tender.
  3. Drain and let cool slightly before smashing each slice flat on a baking sheet.
