  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for drizzling
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil; stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 to 1.5 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and prepare your baking surface.
  6. Roll out the dough into a thin round shape on a floured surface.
  7. Mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, lemon zest, and juice in a bowl; spread over rolled-out dough.
  8. Sprinkle fresh thyme on top before baking for approximately 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with honey and olive oil before serving.
