Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 cucumber (diced)
  • 2 cups cooked grains (brown rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain)
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or dill)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak: Combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Coat the sirloin steak and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare tzatziki sauce: Mix Greek yogurt with grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
  3. Cook the steak: Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak for 4–5 minutes on each side until desired doneness is achieved. Let rest before slicing thinly.
  4. Assemble bowls: Place cooked grains at the base of each bowl, top with sliced steak and fresh veggies like cherry tomatoes and cucumber, then drizzle with tzatziki sauce.
