  • 24 drops green food coloring
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 22 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate over low heat until smooth.
  2. Stir in sugar and add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  3. Whisk together cocoa powder, flour, and salt in a separate bowl. Fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into a greased baking pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until moist crumbs appear on a toothpick.
  5. For the mint frosting, beat softened butter with powdered sugar, peppermint extract, food coloring, and salt until fluffy. Spread over cooled brownies.
  6. Melt semi-sweet chocolate and butter for the topping; pour over frosted brownies and spread evenly. Allow to set before slicing.
