  2. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, molasses, and melted butter. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  3. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead to form a smooth ball. Shape into a circle about 7 inches wide.
  4. Transfer to a floured baking sheet; score the top with a sharp knife. Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F before reducing the heat to 375°F (190°C) and baking for an additional 30-35 minutes until done.
