Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags or 4 tsp loose leaf black tea

  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 star anises (optional)
  • Honey or sugar (to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a saucepan. While waiting, zest the orange to obtain about one teaspoon of zest.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add tea bags, cinnamon sticks, and orange zest (plus star anises if using). Cover and steep for 5 to 8 minutes.
