  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • 1 ½ cups grated parmesan cheese (reserve ¼ cup for topping)
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle 3 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese on the bottom.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, butter, herbs, salt, black pepper, and garlic base; stir until melted and fragrant.
  4. Thinly slice the Yukon Gold potatoes using a mandoline slicer.
  5. Layer potato slices diagonally in the prepared baking dish without too much overlap.
  6. Pour the infused cream mixture over the layered potatoes. Cover with greased aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes until bubbling and golden on top.
