Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, beat softened butter until light and fluffy.

  3. Gradually add flour and mix until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Scoop dough into balls (about 1½ tablespoons each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced about an inch apart.
  7. Bake for 11-15 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
