  • 2 tablespoons Russian or Thousand Island dressing
  • 1/4 pound sliced turkey (or pastrami)
  • 2 to 3 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter
  • 1/4 cup coleslaw

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
  2. Spread Russian dressing on the unbuttered side of each slice.
  3. Layer sliced turkey and Swiss cheese on one slice (dressing side up).
  4. Drain coleslaw in a colander to remove excess liquid.
  5. Spread drained coleslaw over the cheese layer and top with the second slice of bread (buttered side up).
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat, cook until golden brown on the bottom, then flip and cook until browned and cheese is melted.
