  • 8 ounces asparagus
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon liquid aminos (or soy sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Trim the woody ends of the asparagus and cut into 2-inch pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; add asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms tossed with liquid aminos, cooking until tender.
  4. Push vegetables to the sides, add butter and garlic to the center, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  5. Mix garlic into vegetables, cook for another minute, then season with salt and pepper.
