  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and one tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken and add remaining butter and sliced onions to the skillet. Sauté until softened and browned (10-15 minutes).
  4. Stir in minced garlic, chicken broth, and Worcestershire sauce; scrape the pan to incorporate flavors.
  5. Mix in sour cream until smooth; return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce. Serve hot.
