  • 1 medium Cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 1/3 cup Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder (optional)
  • 1.5 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice apple vinegar
  • 23 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
  • 12 tbsp Sriracha Sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger (finely minced)
  • 45 cloves Fresh garlic (finely minced)
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix rice flour, cornstarch, garlic powder (if using), and water to create a batter.
  3. Coat each cauliflower floret in the batter and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. For the sauce, combine sesame oil, light soy sauce, rice apple vinegar, minced ginger, minced garlic, honey/maple syrup, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan over medium heat; stir until combined.
  6. Drizzle the sauce over baked cauliflower and toss gently to coat.
  7. Serve hot garnished with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions.
