  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove chicken from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  4. Line a baking dish with parchment paper or foil lightly greased with olive oil. Place marinated chicken in the dish and pour any remaining marinade on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
