Instructions

  3. Beat solidified butter and sugars in a stand mixer until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes).
  4. Add egg and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  5. Incorporate baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour on low speed.
  6. Gently fold in toffee bits.
  7. Chill dough balls in the refrigerator for at least a few hours or up to 24 hours.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake chilled dough balls on parchment-lined sheets for 11-13 minutes until edges are golden brown.
