  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (cubed)
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and arrange saltine crackers in an even layer.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt together unsalted butter and brown sugar until bubbling; pour over crackers and bake for 4–5 minutes.
