  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (finely grated)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 4 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Flatten the chicken breasts between plastic wrap using a meat mallet to about ¾ inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge the chicken in a mixture of flour, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder, shaking off excess.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic in butter until fragrant. Deglaze with white wine, then add capers, chicken broth, and lemon juice; let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, stir in cold butter until melted, and garnish with parsley before serving.
