  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/3 cup cilantro leaves
  • 4 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons adobo sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 cloves of garlic

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine olive oil, lime juice, cilantro, chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, honey, white vinegar, and garlic. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour marinade into a large ziptop bag and add the flank steak; seal and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill for 6 to 8 minutes per side until desired doneness is reached.
  5. Let the steak rest for about 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
