  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Add broccoli during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and sauté in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden brown; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and herbs.
  4. Combine cooked pasta, broccoli, and chicken in the skillet. Toss with reserved pasta water and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  5. Serve warm with extra Parmesan on top.
