  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon celery flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the jalapenos by deciding whether to keep the seeds in or out based on your preferred spice level.
  2. Finely chop the jalapenos and mix with minced garlic in small mason jars until nearly full.
  3. In a small pot, combine white vinegar, water, sugar, celery flakes, and salt; heat until boiling.
  4. Let the mixture cool for about 2 minutes before pouring it over the chopped jalapenos in jars.
  5. Allow jars to cool for 10 minutes before sealing them with lids and refrigerating.
