  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 whole large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 large egg yolk (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coarse cane sugar (for rolling)
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon (for rolling)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach filling by cooking diced peaches with sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and salt until thickened; cool.
  2. Cream together butter, cream cheese, and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  4. Coat dough balls in cinnamon sugar; create indentations and fill with peach filling before chilling again.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake cookies for 12-13 minutes until golden around the edges.
  6. Cool cookies entirely before drizzling with vanilla glaze.
