  • Kosher Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Garlic Powder
  • Cumin
  • Canola Oil
  • Butter
  • Chopped Parsley
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Lemon (juiced)

Instructions

  1. Cut the top of the lobster shells and separate the meat.
  2. Lay the meat back on the shell, making shallow slits down the length.
  3. Mix salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, and oil into a paste; brush over lobster tails.
  4. Preheat your smoker to 375°F and add wood chips for extra flavor.
  5. Smoke the lobster tails for 20–30 minutes until they turn opaque or reach 145°F internally.
  6. Prepare basting sauce by melting butter with parsley, Parmesan, garlic, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice in a skillet on the smoker.
  7. Glaze the lobster tails with basting sauce before removing them from heat.
  8. Let them rest briefly before serving with leftover butter sauce.
